Hi, I’m Casey, a black and brown, spayed female Cocker Spaniel. I’m about 2.5 years old with the sweetest disposition. I get along well with everybody from people to kids to other dogs. I’m in a foster home with other male and female dogs, whom I learn from. I don’t mind sharing my favorite, stuffed squeaky toys with them, but I will usually run from the other dogs when they want a toy that I have.

I walk really well on the leash and am very well behaved for the groomer. My foster mother thinks that I’ll make a really great pet for a family with older children and other dogs. I am just a little weary of strangers, at first, especially males. However, once I get to know you, I’m a little cuddle-bug and love getting petted and snuggled.

I was originally found as a stray and then went straight to a shelter. I’ve been in my GCCSR foster home since June 1, 2014, and I’m forever grateful. I just love the safety of my home, eating healthy food, and being loved. I’m so glad I was given a second chance. My foster mother has also said that I am a very calm, smart, moderately active young lady who is really very well behaved.

I'm heartworm positive and currently going through heartworm treatment. I'm available on a foster-to-adopt basis in the right home while I continue my vetting, or my foster mom can see me through the treatment. If you think we'd be a good match, please submit an application!
