PIPER
Hi! My name is Piper. I was rescued from the Valley by the great folks at GCCSR. My estimated DOB is 1/27/2007 and I weigh 22.6 lbs. I have only been at my foster’s home for a few short days, but I have been a really good girl. She thinks i'm really full of spunk! My foster mom thinks I’m potty trained already as I have not had one accident in the house! I’m not too keen on the crate, but will go in with a little ‘coaxing’. Once I’m in there, it’s not so bad. I don’t make any noise or cry. I LOVE kids, and like to give them kisses because they always seem to have some extra crumbs. I am currently not spayed, but will be shortly. I have calmed down a little on my ‘humping’, but that should go away altogether once I’m spayed. (My foster sister will appreciate it.) My foster mom has taught me to sit, and we are working on ‘stay’ and ‘back up’. She says I’m a really fast learner when it comes to manners. I’m also good with other dogs, but I don’t know what a
cat is, so I’m not sure how I would react. Unfortunately, I am heartworm positive, so will have to undergo treatment to get rid of them. My foster mom keeps saying that I am such a sweetheart, and I am a really good girl. She says my new forever home will be very lucky to have me. I’d love to come live with YOU! Can you find a place for me in your heart?
Piper can go to her new home on a foster-to-adopt basis until her heartworm treatment and spay is complete. If you can open your home to her, please click on the link to fill out an adoption application as soon as possible!
